Demilitarized Zone(DMZ) / Perimeter Network is the zone in the network which is prone to both internal as well as external attacks. Nebero allows to configure DMZ where in the Web servers, Mail servers or any ERP/Database servers can be placed in the DMZ zone of Nebero. These servers are prone to external attacks if they are given Global IP. Nebero gives you the flexibility to keep these servers behind the Nebero firewall so that they are not exposed directly to the Internet. They are given a Local IP and port forwarding is done, so that if an external request is received for a particular port defined by the administrator it is forwarded to the concerned server. Only the request for that port on which that server runs, is forwarded rest all the requests for other ports are dropped.(DNAT).
