Nebero

Multiple ISP With Failover

Load Sharing

With Load Sharing feature, Nebero helps you to share your network load among multiple ISPs. Load Sharing is done on the basis of groups. While creating groups you can decide which ISP account (from multiple ISP accounts) will be used as a primary ISP for that group. For example, you can put all users with heavy bandwidth usage in one group (e.g. GH) and other users with low or normal bandwidth usage under another groups (e.g. GN, GL). And you have to ISP accounts one with heavy download / upload limits and good bandwidth (e.g. ISP_H) and one ISP account with low bandwith and normal download / upload limits (e.g. ISP_L). Now we have the following statistics.

GROUPS
GH = Group for heavy bandwidth users. (those with daily upload/download of 100MB to 200MB - multimedia engineers, CAD/CAM designers etc.)
GN = Group for normal bandwidth users. (those with daily upload/download of 10MB to 20MB download - users with heavy mail usage, system administrators who needs to download security patches, softwares and updates etc.)
GL = Group for low bandwidth users. (those who sends/receive mails and web surfing only)

ISP ACCOUNTS

ISP_H = 2MB/4MB bandwith with upload/download limit of more than 25 GB per month.
ISP_L = 256 Kpbs with unlimited download/upload per month.

For effective load sharing you will ISP_H as a primary ISP for group GH and ISP_L as a primary ISP for group GN and GL. Thereafter, Nebero will transmit all data packets of group GH through ISP_H and data packets of group GN & GL through ISP_L. Kindly note that Load Sharing feature is only applicable in case of multiple ISP accounts.

Failover

In case one link fails the load gets shifted to the other link and once link is restored the load gets shifted again to both as per the defined policy. This ensures 100% Internet Availability.
